Hemant Sura, P.E. Professional EngineerMr.
Sura leads design and commissioning for GreenTech Consulting with
specialties in electrical, lighting, life safety, power distribution
and telecommunication. He also supports sustainable technology design
and oversees other disciplines. He
is licensed as a Professional Engineer in North Carolina, South
Carolina, and Nevada, and is a member of the National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA). He is a City of Raleigh certified engineer. Mr.
Sura has 20 years experience providing engineering services for
electrical and auxiliary low voltage systems for office buildings,
schools, university systems, churches and healthcare facilities. His
commitment to Green Building Technology includes day lighting and
controls, solar PV systems, rainwater collection, and emerging energy
technologies. Liz Bowen, LEED® AP Sustainability Director Ms.
Bowen provides LEED® project management and documentation using the
LEED-CI, LEED-NC, LEED-CS, and LEED-EB platforms. This involves setting
project goals, researching strategies, tracking project budgets,
organizing team meetings, preparing and updating tracking tools, and
managing LEED Online. She possesses an understanding of the intent of
environmental goals, an attention to detail and the ability to motivate
people. Her
completed projects include: the first LEED® Subway® in North Carolina
located in Chapel Hill, SolarTech South PV distribution facility in
Chapel Hill, GF Management Offices in Durham, and MEZ Restaurant in
Durham. She also has the primary responsibility for GreenTech's first
Greenhouse Gas Inventory, to be released February 2009. Aaron Milano Energy Analyst Mr.
Milano's expertise at GreenTech is evident in his broad knowledge of
sustainable technologies. His work at GreenTech includes energy
analysis/modeling, solar technology analysis, and software development. His
project involvement includes: Durham County Health and Human Services
Durham, NC, SolarTech South Chapel Hill, NC, Rogers Alley mixed use
community in downtown Durham, and GreenTech Consulting's eco-office in
Cary, NC. He has also contributed renewable technology economic
assessment software which aids individuals and businesses in
responsibly investing in a sustainable future. The
software he has created calculates payback of renewable energy
equipment such as solar hot water and photovoltaic solar panels.
